Operation Roundup

What has Operation Roundup done for the community?

In 2007 Operation Roundup gave out the following:

1. Caputa Community Center $ 1,000.00 new heating system
2. South Dakota Operation Military Kids $ 800.00 hero packs
3. Alkali Volunteer Fire Department $ 1,000.00 help with new building
4. New Underwood Youth Organization $ 1,000.00 improvements and equipment
5. Rural Meade Ambulance $ 500.00 cabinets and storage units
6. Rapid Valley Elementary School PTA $ 500.00 playground equipment
7. Cheyenne River Breaks Education Facility $ 1,000.00 concrete and awning
8. Central Meade County Community Center $ 500.00 improvements for acoustics
9. Junior Achievment of South Dakota $ 250.00
10. Junior Achievement program DARE Program -
11. Valley View Elementary $ 250.00 program expenses
12. Enning Volunteer Fire Department $ 500.00 fire suits
13. Wall Volunteer Ambulance Service $ 1,000.00 new AED

In 2006 Operation Roundup gave out $6,500 to local organizations. The donations are as follows:

1. Neighborhood Housing - $500
2. Wall Support Our Troops - $400
3. BH Community Theater - $200
4. American Legion Post 256 NU - $850
5. Wall After School - $1,800
6. Rural Meade Ambulance - $750
7. Mission in Time - $2,000

In 2005 Operation Roundup gave out $7,000 to local organizations in the following order:

1. Children's Home Society
2. Suncatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy
3. Civil Air Patrol-Rushmore Squadron
4. Central Meade County Preschool
5. Daisy troop 4244-Girl Scouts
6. New Underwood School District
7. New Underwood Booster Club
8. City of New Underwood
9. West River Art Educators
10. Rural Meade Ambulance Service
11. Scenic Volunteer Fire Department

Amercian Legion #255 New Underwood, SD accepts $850.00 of Operation Roundup Funds.
